People often think of psychic abilities as supernatural or paranormal.
"Psychic abilities are not natural, and since I'm a normal human I cannot have psychic abilities." Such a statement is a self-fulfilling psychic prediction itself, and nothing kills psychic abilities faster than such thoughts.
We must not confuse the words 'natural' and 'normal'. Psychic abilities are natural, however since most people choose to suppress or ignore them, they are no longer the norm.
So, psychic abilities are natural (and not supernatural), but unfortunately they are still paranormal (meaning beyond the norm). The good news is that norms and normality can be changed to become less superficial and more natural.
Embrace psychic abilities as part of your psychic nature, and create new norms others can be inspired by.
